I started this series not only so that I can start drawing and painting more consistently again, but mainly to give black women more recognition. The recognition they deserve. To be painted in a beautiful light. This series includes people from friends to singers, actresses to athletes, activists to trans women and many more. I hope that you can take a piece of this with you home, and learn a little something along the way.
